Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree 

I could write something here about the duality of nature that enables juxtapositions of dark and light, suffering and joy, and good and evil. I could tell you my favourite colour - morally grey, of course - or how many lips have recounted my tale, none being my own. Or...I could write a poem. After all, this IS a poetry book. So,

While you read through this anthology

You may find you can relate to me

And nestled deeply in the soul within

Is the need to love,

To hate,

To sin.
