Think your job's depressing? Imagine being Death. Grief is pretty much an occupational hazard, really, and it's painful enough that ripping out your own feelings may seem like a great solution. But...discarded emotions don't just sit around. At least, they don't in Threnody. They get personalities, catastrophic amounts of power, and start corrupting everyone and everything in their presence.
